Star Wars Shadows Of The Empire is one of only two books that take place between Star Wars V and VI. The plot is highly engaging and all the classic characters feel right. Luke, Leia, Lando and Chewbacca are out to save Han Solo in this rip roaring adventure that starts good and gets better. There are some new characters introduced as well as one especially great rivalry between Darth Vader and Prince Xizor.
Over all, it's a fun read with never a dull moment. If you like classic Star Wars, you'll have to try this novel.
