My 7 year old was talking about this book he found in school. Reading a synopsis online it peaked my curiosity, and with the cover showing a cat smoking a cigar- I thought I better check it out. I didn't want to pay $4.99 for a book that may never get read, so I choose to download the sample. WASTE OF TIME!! The sample was 9 pages long. The first 7 were of the title, the copyrights, the acknowledgments, the chapter titles and 2 paragraphs of the book! That's it!! Even then the 2 paragraphs said the little boy begged his dad for a cat for years; finally his dad said yes and took him to a shelter. The little boy saw a old, mangy, grey cat that was missing half his whiskers...... That's it! Nothing more!! I understand all I was downloading a sample but I was expecting 2-3 pages. Not 2-3 SMALL paragraphs.
