This was Mitch and Scarlett’s story. Scarlett was running from her past and finds Mitch at the garage she stopped at for some car help. Mitch sees what he wants and goes for it. It was a good story about overcoming your past and going for what you want. Can’t wait to read Kurt’s story.

I can only imagine what was going through Mitch’s mind when Scarlett came into the shop. To see a woman scared and beaten mentally and physically had to wear on him and pull on his heart strings. I loved how he did not think twice of helping her. I loved how much the author put Levi into the story. Sometimes when reading a book we only get to see glimpses of the kids in the story. Well we really got to see Levi’s character come to life and it was great to see. Scarlett was stronger then what most would think and we really get to see her strength in this story. She has been through so much and now is finding her voice. With everything she has been through she does have trust issues. We get to see so much passion between Mitch and and Scarlett. Mitch just wants to be there for Scarlett and Levi. He also wants to make their life easier and better. Mitch hopes to win Scarlett’s heart and I love how he does not care to play dirty to win her heart. Great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.
