Marie-Catherine d'Aulnoy (1650-1705) was a French writer, and she was considered the one who developed the genre of aclassical French fairy-tale. Her most popular fairy-tales were: 'The Story Of Pretty Goldilocks', 'The Blue Bird' and 'The Imp Prince'.
