    Sweet and Sexy Second Chance Romance that was a perfect late night read cuddled up in bed and ready to dream (hot dreams) Years have passed since the day Noah Morelli broke her heart by telling her not to wait for him and to move on with her life but just as he believes she has done just that he comes back in a last ditch bid to correct a mistake he made so many years ago. The reality is so much more juicy than that though Gwen Kirkpatrick is living her life but has never really moved on from loving Noah.. Loved every heart pounding moment of this short but exciting story.

    ARC for honest review with no compensation, this is short novella within the Uniformly Hot series by Tawny Weber and what a well written, quick read and hot story. Gwen and Noah were friends and lovers a long time ago but Noah at age 16, made a vow that he would become a Seal and that nothing and no girl would ever get in the way… Years later, they met up again at a New Year’s Eve engagement party for Noah’s brother but also to find out if Gwen is getting engaged. What he finds is that the feelings are just as strong as before but Noah isn’t sure that he can break his vow made years ago until he talks with his LT and finds that sometime have a woman at your side is the ultimate goal…. Hot, steamy, second chance at love or will these two finally call it quits????? 4.5 stars

    This book can be read as a standalone novel. If reading through a series, this is book #2 for Sexy SEAL's, #6.5 for Uniformly Hot SEALs. I always recommend reading in order for further understanding and enjoyment. Noah & Gwen have a history he walked away from. Now, Gwen has a life with a new man. Can she forgive and forge a new future with a man she cannot seem to let go? Seriously sexy and sweet. You feel the honesty in the characters interactions and it pulls you right in. This was a joy to read. I wish it had been longer, but was at a nice pace and easy to read. Great addition to the series. ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

    I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. New Year's Eve is generally a time of celebration, but not for Gwen. Gwen's heart was torn into tiny bits three years ago by Noah, a Navy SEAL. Generally, Gwen spends New Year's Eve at home in her pjs watching Friends and eating Chunky Monkey. This year, she's spending it at an engagement party--her ex's brother, also a SEAL, is getting his "HEA". Both Noah and Sam were/are a part of the Cadet Club. The Cadet Club was formed years ago, when Noah was fifteen. He became "blood brothers" with Sam, Eli, and others. They vowed to become a SEAL at all costs and without any emotional attachments. While that worked for Eli, it didn't for Sam or Noah--as he now knows. Noah finds out he's on the verge of losing Gwen to another man. So he finagled leave to be home for the engagement party and to win Gwen back. Gwen realizes she still loves Noah, but doesn't know if she can risk another broken heart. This novel ends with a HEA and is NOT a cliffhanger! Although this can be read as a stand-alone novella, I recommend reading A SEAL's Proposal first. Neither novella is very long, but go well when read together! I highly recommend this novella--especially for second chance at love readers.
