Another quality eBook from Chapel Library. What happens when a child of God sins? Arthur W. Pink (1886-1952) attempts to answer this question biblically. He first demonstrates that the Bible clearly teaches that sin does not forfeit the true believer’s hope of heaven, but he goes on to show that the believer still suffers sobering losses. He may lose sweet communion with God, the joy of salvation, power for service, rewards in glory. He may invite the chastening of his heavenly Father and even endanger his physical life. God’s grace extends far enough not only to bring us into the kingdom, but also to preserve us while in it from falling away, and to restore us when we stray from the narrow path of the kingdom life.
