Dare to Submit

I loved a book from her other Dare series so I thought I'd give this a try. It's not bad if you're looking for a fluffy romance. A lot of the typical tropes are there (both characters are wounded and want to let the other in). The BDSM scenes are very cliché and the character development is a little flat. Not a bad book if you're just looking to waste a few hours.

I love this book!! Decklan a hot sexy dominant man with a loving tender side. And Amanda a gorgeous loving woman. Both have issues but have been attracted to each other the moment their eyes met at the club. He rescued her and it got yummy sexy. I loved the dominant/submissive bedroom relationship based on loving but hot sex. No nasty mean whips or ugly bdsm. This was a loving story of letting go of your issues and trusting in love. And being with such a alpha dominant man that cares is my kind of book boyfriend. The author's writing style I love. She draws you in and you can't turn the pages fast enough. I have bought more of this series. I'm buying them all. I preordered the next book out. Can't wait!!

Alluring from page one. Dare to Submit is the second book I've read by Carly Phillips and I liked it just as much as the other. Carly Phillips has a way of writing incredibly sexy scenes without overshadowing the actual story. If you want an erotic read with substance, check out this book!

I loved everything about the book. It was a great story with great characters. I can't wait to read the next one in the series.

In this fourth book in the Dare to Love series, Decklan Dare is dealing with abandonment issues from losing his parents suddenly when he was younger. While in the BDSM club, he comes to the aid of a beautiful sub, Amanda. He's had his eye on her for the last six months but afraid to do anything about it. He knew she'd be different from his normal. They shared chemistry from afar, until her Dom for the night got a little too aggressive and ignored her safe word. Decklan stepped in and took care of her. They started seeing each other and it wasn't easy with her living in D.C. and him living in NY. So, what was he expected to think when he sees his Amanda on TV, being introduced to the world as a Presidential candidate's future daughter-in-law? It's fun to watch those ultra sexy, brooding, alpha Dare men fall for their women and Decklan is no exception. It's always the secrets that tear things apart and Amanda knows secrets all too well. FANTASTIC book! The entire series is amazing and I can't wait for the next one. Thank you Carly Phillips for another exciting adventure with a member of the New York Dare cousins.

I openly admit to being a huge fan of Carly Phillips. I've read and loved her books for years, and I love the direction she has taken since going indie last year. Dare to Submit is absolutely one of the best books I've read all year. I loved Decklan Dare when we met him in Dare to Surrender and was so excited he was the next member of the Dare clan to get his story. I knew it would take a special woman to make Decklan ever think about being in a relationship. Decklan has needed to be in control every since his parents died in a car wreck. Amanda Collins likes the ability of giving up control that being a submissive gives her. Decklan and Amanda are both attracted to one another from the first time they see each other in the BDSM club, yet neither wants a relationship so neither approached the other initially. Neither Decklan nor Amanda is prepared for the connection they have to one another. While they start out as a one-night stand, neither one can stop thinking of the other. They both seem to know what the other needs and are more than willing to be there for each other. I loved how incredible the chemistry was between Decklan and Amanda. There are some BDSM elements, and the sex is steamy. I loved watching Decklan and Amanda fall for one another, as neither ever expected to find someone to love. Dare to Submit is the hottest book from Carly Phillips to date. I feel like the romance was just as strong as ever. Decklan and Amanda are one of my favorite couples from Carly Phillips. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a strong contemporary romance. While there are some BDSM elements in this book, I feel like they add to the story and help the readers understand the main characters better.

I didn't like the Dominix aspect of the book just as I didn't like 50 Shades of Grey. I've read all of her books and I hope she doesn't continue this theme.

Decklan is Gabe's brother and if you read' Dare to Surrender, He is the police officer who arrested Isabelle. Decklan still carries guilt from his parents deaths. He is a Dom, and meets Amanda at a club that her friend and boss Brad pays for her membership. Amanda is Brad's personal assistant, they met in college and have been best friends ever since. Brad is gay, and in a relationship with a man, but uses Amanda as his pseudo-girlfriend. He doesn't want to tell his family because his Dad is a senator. Amanda and Decklan meet at the club, start talking, then go to his house and have some got sex. Amanda goes home before Decklan wakes up. She is missing Decklan so she goes back to see him. They spend her vacation together, going for a horse drawn carriage ride, and having lots of amazing sex, and some bdsm sex thrown in. Brad tells his Dad he is gay, and the Dad says he knew. He says he loves his son, and wants to give an interview about it, since he announced his candidacy for president. They go to New York for a luncheon and then will do the interview. Something happens...Decklan takes her to his apartment and they talk, sex it up, and talk some more. Carly Phillips has went way past her normal writing with this book. All over her Facebook page she says this is her hottest book yet, and that is a 100% accurate description. I suggest you get these books and read them, you will not be disappointed. I recieved this book in exchange for an honest review.
