Description

My plan was perfect. My friend needed a date, and my brother's best friend was single. Problem solved.

Until I saw Jaeger for the first time in years, and sparks flew in the wrong direction.

Jaeger has grown up and bulked up. But that shouldn't matter, because I have the perfect life. Really.

Only my plans are beginning to unravel and now visions of Jaeger's hard abs, broad shoulders, and intense green eyes fill my head.

I should hold back in case my friend is interested. Or in case of a million other reasons. But if Jaeger isn't willing to play by the rules, I don't think I can either.

The main character is supposed to be a no nonsense genius but all of the problems in this book are because of nonsense that could have been avoided if she would just have talked to her supposed best friend or boyfriend. Also the end when the ex gf just gives up?? So anticlimactic.

So many unexpected events happen in this book & keeps you on your toes. So many time I did not want to put the book down! Jaeger is a typical man but has the qualities of an almost perfect boyfriend. Made me think of my relationship often.

This book had so many things going right for it and so many things going wrong. I would love to eliminate some of the whiny behavior and just overall increase the maturity of some of the characters, but otherwise I loved it.
  • Drawn Out

So I get it, the author wanted to fully develop each character but it was soooo drawn out. There are better ways of character development in telling the story than this. It’s a book not a script! Just way too drawn out.

The title attempts to get the reader to avoid this book. It encourages reading it. The possibility of receiving interesting events, especially dating, is achieved. Exciting follows the “dating promise” Enjoy! Thank you!

this book felt very easy to get through. the writing is simple to comprehend and the story is cute and fun. there really wasnt a main plot which sometimes made it feel like it was just a ongoing story but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing because the story still held my attention. the main twist in my opinion was so random and unnecessary but again i guess its okay cause it kept my attention. I really like the characters in the book especially jaeger🤗. literally such a good book boyfriend. im excited to continue this series and see what it brings.
