Description

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Ethan Frost returns in another breathtaking novel by Tracy Wolff, the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Ruined.

As Chloe Girard discovers, there’s love . . . and then there’s addiction.

Ethan Frost is everything a woman could want in a man. He’s rich, gorgeous, powerful, one of the most eligible bachelors in the world.

But that’s not why I’m with him.

I love Ethan for all the things no one else gets to see: his innate kindness, his reckless spontaneity, his unwavering determination to use his brilliance for good. I love the way he looks at me, the way he touches me. The way he makes me forget the wreckage of my past and the twisted fear that still lives inside me.

But sometimes it terrifies me how much I crave him, how much I need him just to breathe. I always thought it would be my past that ruined us, but there’s a darkness in Ethan I never dreamed existed. Can we survive as his secrets surface—threatening to unravel us both?

Look for all of Tracy Wolff’s seductive reads:
The Ethan Frost series: RUINED | ADDICTED | EXPOSED | FLAWED
The Sebastian Caine series: PLAY ME WILD | PLAY ME HOT | PLAY ME HARD | PLAY ME REAL | PLAY ME RIGHT | PLAY ME: THE COMPLETE STORY

Praise for Addicted

Addicted is a deeply emotional, gut-wrenching story about love, loss, pain and ultimately trust. Trust in yourself and trust in your lover . . . are two elements that are tantamount to a strong relationship. With the baggage and seemingly insurmountable odds stacked against Chloe and Ethan, trust is the key.”—Scandalicious Book Reviews

“Tracy Wolff pulls the reader into an emotional, heartbreaking . . . storyline about two people whose pasts collide with the present, resulting in a roller coaster of push and pull.”—The Reading Cafe

“[Wolff] really has a wonderful way of putting her words together and bringing her characters to life.”—Smokin’ Hot Book Blog

“Wolff is a brilliant author who writes great characters and steamy hot scenes. . . . I think you’ll enjoy it. Ethan Frost is totally worth it!”—Pretty Sassy Cool

“This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It made me fall in love with these characters all over again but in an entirely different capacity. I highly recommend this book as well as all of Tracy’s books. I look forward to reading more from her.”—Love Between the Sheets

  • Continuity issues!

Not even halfway through the second book and I'm flipping back to the first to make sure I'm not crazy. How can the MAIN CHARACTER go from a redhead to a blond without someone, namely the writer, noticing. Not to mention her car totally changes... Maybe in the third book she will be a 6 foot Amazonian princess with long black hair and drive a Prius??

Addicted by Tracy Wolff is the second book in her Ethan Frost series. It picks up where book one, Ruined left off. There are dark and damaging secrets between Ethan and Chloe that neither were aware of in the beginning. When the darkness becomes another bond shared between them will they be able to get past it or is it the final straw? Chloe hides a darkness in her past. A secret that she keeps tightly under lock and key so that she can remain strong enough to continue day to day. Ethan is now privy to this secret AND a party to it as well, albeit unknowingly. Can they come back from something so dark and twisted? Another freat story with these amazing characters that I just couldn't put down. Told again from Chloe's POV only. I am very excited for the next book in the Ethan Frost series, Exposed but in between this book and book three is the Play Me series by Tracy Wolff that takes place in Vegas and involves Ethan's best friend Sebastian and his love interest, Aria. Ethan and Chloe make a guest appearance in this series. The first book in the five part Play Me serial that is available in it's entirety is... Play Me #1: Play Me Wild, followed in order by Play Me #2: Play Me Hot, Play Me #3: Play Me Hard, Play Me #4: Play Me Real, and Play Me #5: Play Me Right.

Totally love the books, and can't wait for the 3rd to come out :) The only thing I found wrong or should say a little confusing is that Chloe went from having curly red hair & driving a Mini Cooper (book 1) to a straight haired Blonde that drives a Honda (book 2) with no real explanation of either change. So it has me thinking it was an overlooked mistake made by the writer or editor or possibly both ??? Although neither mistakes take away from the story, it's still great :) Hoping Chloe doesn't become a brunette that drives a Hummer in book 3 LOL....
  • Redundant

Loved ruined so decided to get addicted to see what happens next! But it basically was the same thing! She walks away he chases her! Also in ruined she drove a mini minor and had crazy red hair! A couple of weeks later in addicted she drives a Honda and now has flowing blond hair! Seriously! That's just stupid! Plus he's dating this child who keeps having temper tantrums. Why not make her a little older and more believable! I need a refund! And the author needs a fact checker

First let me start by saying I so love the story line, and the characters in this book and in the first. I gave it 3 stars because I felt at most times there was too much feeling and descriptive writing going on. I mean, if you love the books that can give you a whole page of how this girl's heart is hurting, we'll then this is the series for u. I on the other hand get agitated with those types. The plot started off good and then kept going back and forth. The whole book was of Chloe trying to either fight her feelings for Ethan or whining about the way he was acting because she couldn't make her mind up to be with him. It made it hard to read sometimes. The feelings were strung out way too much and the ending was rushed. I also would of liked to know what happened with some of the other characters. Maybe if the author focused on less feelings and more background on the extra characters, this would of been a 5 star series for me. I'm disappointed because even though the author does this some in her Shakin Dirty series a bit, I still love that series and it's one of my favorites. This author has it in her to be as big as some of the other big romance writers. I hope she works it out. Cause I would love to see a lot more of her if she can get the kinks worked out.

This series was wonderful to read. I love their love story and it makes me hopeful to find the person I hope to one day become addicted to.
  • Same Author?

I liked the first book and it had promise, but this second was almost as if someone else wrote it. The whole plot was: he doesn't tell her something- she gets mad and runs away - literally - they have crazy sex and make up. Repeat. Repeat. Other discrepancies: Chloe had curly red hair in the first book, blond hair in the second. I guess she could have gotten into all her roommate's hair dye. Another confusion: if Brandon was with her all through high school to torment her, why is he now 25 and she is barely 21? She was 15 when he assaulted her so he should have been out of school already at 19! The first book had more of a plot and nothing was resolved in this book, with any of their parents or their brothers, the evil eye intern Rick, or even her roommate. It was all about makeup sex.

Very entertaining! The only issue I had is that details in the second book are different than the first. She drives a Mini Cooper in the first and a Honda in this book. There are some other details I remember in this book that contradict the first. Other than that both books are great reads. I wish there was a third and fourth and fifth...
