This would have worked as a full length novel but it is woefully inadequate as a short novella. This gives a bare bones summary of daenyathos's career while mentioning his "grand plan" but doesn't't really go into specifics. In fact, the whole thing is filled with plot holes, puzzling decisions on the part of the main character, and didn't seem to jar with the information that was given out in the soul drinker series. A novella didn't do this idea justice and the fact that they're pricing such a short page count submission at $11.99 shows they have no respect for their fan base. I will be cutting down on my buys for warhammer from now since I have no desire to be ripped off like this repeatedly.
