This story and seeing the growth of the characters was amazing. You will need a box of tissues. It was like coming home. This story was what I need after going through a hard time.

But the wrap up of the story seems rushed and incomplete. And also impossible.

It is so amazing made me cry and so happy at different times throughout the book.

I really liked the banter between bones and Hayden and I love both characters. the ending was a bit of a surprise for me, but I still loved it. I guess my only complaint would be it went too fast because I read it too fast. Seriously this was a great one. I can’t wait for savages book. also, I loved the surprise people we get to see in this one.

As in all of Emma’s books, love the banter between these two and how Bones just takes care of Duchess so well. A few twists and turns in the characters that left me “so proud” of them. The old ladies never disappoint with what feels like their own club. Love the references to the Rex and that some of those characters appear. I have a feeling and hope I’m right…..that there may be a new Ramsey book?

Bones and Hayden brought me back to Waco but still had such a unique story with that suspense in the back of your mind throughout. He let her show her what her world was like and did whatever he could to show her he was meeting her half way in his own way. When he shares his story oh my it about ripped my heart out. If you love spicy, suspenseful, bikers, men in tuxes, when he calls you duchess then you too will read this book within 24 hours…

I read this waaayyy too fast! I love their dynamic. My only complaint is I wanted this book to be longer. There’s so much more I wanted to know about Bones and what Hayden decides to about her condition.

Oh my goodness, I love Emma Slate’s stories, they’re just amazing! Leather & Lies is book seven in the Tarnished Angels MC series and it’s a perfect continuation to an already fantastic series. I have loved all the male leads in the past books but I really think Bones is my favorite so far. He’s tough, funny and oh so sweet. Hayden is a welcome addition to the Old Ladies club…she fits in quite well with the craziness that those ladies come up with. So much excitement, sweetness, sexy times and mystery…can’t forget the mystery…this book has it all! Oh, and it brings in some old friends…such a treat! Thanks Ms. Slate, totally appreciate you sharing your imagination with us once again…can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

I really loved the MFC and how the MMC was with her. There relationship blossomed beautifully but I was a little disappointed and how the book ended it was the first for this character and I can’t tell you any more than that so I don’t give anything way. The spicy was low but still nice read.

Just like every other Emma Slate book I’ve read, this one was great! It follows a rich, upper class woman and her relationship with a biker in a MC. There was a good amount of action, feels and spice. I love all of the Tarnished Angel guys, they are so ride or die for their women. I was so lucky to get an ARC so I could read it early, but it’s officially out today.
