    It takes 150 pages to get a sense of the plot. I’ve read every Reacher book to date and this one doesn’t rate in the top ten.

    I’ve read all of the other Reacher books. Most of them numerous times. In my opinion, this book was the hardest to finish. I just couldn’t get interested. I felt like his heart just wasn’t in it, or he just needed another paycheck. I’m a big fan of all the other novels. This one left me disappointed.

    It was like getting a hamburger when you wanted a steak. It put our Reacher appetite on hold. Not really as satisfying as we’ve come to expect. The ongoing issues with the broken wrist and concussion seemed superfluous. This is a man who gets shot and stabbed and is kicking butt two days later. It is one I will not reread.

    This and the last Reacher novel were painful to read. I couldn’t get through this one. Way too much dialogue and not enough action. Please bring back Lee Child.
