Description

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A gripping Jack Reacher thriller from the bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child

Don’t miss the hit streaming series Reacher!

Reacher had no idea where he was. No idea how he had gotten there. But someone must have brought him. And shackled him. And whoever had done those things was going to rue the day. That was for damn sure.

Jack Reacher wakes up alone, in the dark, handcuffed to a makeshift bed. His right arm has suffered some major damage. His few possessions are gone. He has no memory of getting there.

The last thing Reacher can recall is the car he hitched a ride in getting run off the road. The driver was killed.

His captors assume Reacher was the driver’s accomplice and patch up his wounds as they plan to make him talk.

A plan that will backfire spectacularly . . .

A good read but not great. Had no trouble putting it down for a day or two unlike most other Reachers.

This father son author thing isn’t working. The story was contrived and full of holes. I’ve read every Reacher book. But I suspect this is my last.

This book was boring. You can tell the author has no semblance of what the Jack Reacher we have read about for years is made of. Not once did this book have the same feel. This author cannot describe the setting or action of books past. This will be the last new Jack Reacher book I purchase.

I’ve read everything that both Andrew and Lee have written. And my guess is that Andrew wrote most all of this. Jumbled up, and a disappointment. I did finish it though.

Well sadly I must agree with most of the reviews here. This is a terrible book. Not sure why Lees name is even on it. There are only a couple authors I really love and Lee Child’s was one of them. If this is the product that he is going to put his name on, then I’m done buying his books. It is clear he had a little to do with the writing of this novel. I’ve been waiting for this to come out for a long time and then I can’t even explain the disappointment. I am done reading Jack Reacher books.

I am a huge Lee Child fan, read them all. However, I would say this is not only the worst Lee Child book I’ve ever read, it may be the worst book in general I have ever read. When everything is about a character said this and a character said that over and over and over with very little plot or intrigue especially for a Reacher read, just too mundane and boring. I had to speed read through this thing just to justify the cost of the book, otherwise I would’ve never finished it. Where do I ask for a return on my purchase.. :(

Disjointed from the start. This one did not have that same Reacher “feel” which is so expected and loved.

Parts read well, others mailing it in. I don’t think Junior adds anything to this series.

Lee Child needs to get back to writing his novels. I have read every Reacher novel. This book is a waste of time and money.
