    Lana’s a witch with little power and a dream to find her father. When he contacts her she finally gets her wish - and discovers a whole new world. Lana is a great character who learns a lot about herself in this story. I can’t wait to see what happens next with all of them.     I really enjoyed Ashley McLeo’s writing style in another of her series and wanted to give this one a shot — it did not disappoint! As the 1st installment in The Bonegates Series, Hawk Witch does a great job of pulling you in to a story you don’t want to put down! It’s action-packed with well developed characters and world building that doesn’t leave you feeling lost. This is a great fantasy read for anyone who prefers their fantasy stories on the darker side and wants to get lost in a world of Fae and magic! Looking forward to checking out book #2!.     A great start to a new series, this dark faerie read was imaginative and enchanting! Hawk Witch brings readers right into the world and doesn't let go with its incredible world building and storytelling! Lana is an interesting MFC to follow, and her abilities are unique as an illuminator witch. When she unexpectedly meets her father, nothing is as she thought it would be or as it appears. With intrigue and mystery to follow, and lots of action, I am excited to see what is next for this series and these characters!.
