Livvy and Ethan will give you all those amazing childhood romance feelings with its dual timelines and dual POV. In true M. Robinson fashion these MCs go through a lot before they have their HEA together. If you love your MCs going on an emotional roller coaster this one is definitely worth the read. Wow! Monica brought the angst on this friends to lovers to friends again, second chance romance. From the beginning we are on a roller coaster ride with Ethan and Livvy. Their story was real, honest, and shows true and unconditional love. The book was spicy, sassy, full of banter and of course angst. Best friends since childhood they slowly started to realize as they grow up that their connection was deeper than friendship. They truly were soul mates. But, as luck would have it there was always something preventing them from fully being together. The subtle plot twist that Monica threw in the story line were just perfect. But, the plot twist at the end was one I was not expecting We see them grow through out the story, and we also see their struggles but also we see how they always come back to each other as above everything else. Loved this one. I hope we get an update on them at some point. Great read!

This man loved Livvy with everything he had and always put her happiness above all ! We could not get enough of these two 🖤🖤 livvy and Ethan are childhood bffs who are from two different worlds but did not let that stop their friendship! They faced struggles from her family to distance apart and all the struggles trying to find yourself brings but no matter what stage they were in they found a way back to each other !! And when Ethan finally said ok enough it’s my time we couldn’t help but swoon !! Their love story is the perfect mixture of sweet & spicy 🖤🖤 the way Monica wrote their story had such a natural beautiful flow that it felt like we were listening to a friend tell us about their life 🖤 we devoured this book & absolutely loved it !!!

Livvy and Ethan hooked me in from the very beginning. What’s not to love from a childhood friend’s to lovers romance. Livvy and Ethan take you on an emotional ride full of angst and love you feel deep into your soul. Livvy and Ethan meet during 1st grade and are inseparable ever since. They go through all milestones together and become each other’s first in everything until a scare has them rethinking things that make them feel like they should keep things strictly as friends. They are there for each other through everything. Then one day Livvy calls Ethan to be her man of honor. During the week of wedding events that lead up to Livvy’s big day, there are realizations and reveals for both of them. As the angst gets to its high during this week, it only leads us to their HEA and things begin to fall as they should. M. Robinson does not disappoint with all the feels and gives us characters that will forever live rent free in our heads. Saying I loved this book barely expresses how much I truly loved this book. Definitely a must read that you will devour in one sitting.

From the beginning, you just know that this book is going to be an emotional rollercoaster and it did not disappoint. It can be read in one sitting and once started, you will not want to put it down. Two best friends share the trials and tribulations of growing up together and the paths that they must take to ascertain if they are truly meant to be. Ms. Robinson has given readers Livvy and Ethan and crafted a beautiful friendship that has one so invested in their relationship that there are times when you want to pull your hair out or reach out to shake some sense into them. Ethan is a pure gem and knows the value of patience and above all what he wants from life. He is the one that you cannot help but cheerlead for to get what he wants. Livvy is the kind of woman who can frustrate you to no end with her decisions. The overarching angst between these two is taken to another level with this book, “We were two bodies swimming in a sea of emotions, of mistakes and regrets, of the pain of tomorrow and every day after that.” The burning question is will they get their happily ever after? Read the book and find out. I recommend this book.

There's so much more to this story than romance. There are deep conversations between the main characters. Heavy topics such as becoming parents, and a father and daughter relationship that is complicated. Livvy, the main character is a people pleaser. She loves her parents and obeys them. But she is forced to leave her small-town life to go off to college and leave all she loves behind. Ethan, Livvy’s childhood best friend has been there for her. Things begin to get complicated when they break the rules of being more than friends. Be prepared to have a box of tissues because this is a game of love. A test of what the future will bring to these main characters. Ethan knows what he wants and who he wants in life. But Livvy, loves with her big heart. Is it with the right person? I freaking loved this book. I’ve been in a slump lately and haven’t been able to get into some books. I was hooked from the very start and read this in one sitting. I was an easy, quick read with some angst. I absolutely loved the characters Ethan and Libby! This was one of my favorite reads by M. Robinson! Definitely recommend this!

I enjoy the journey of this friends to lovers story. Ethan and Livvy’s friendship is captivating. They have adored and cared for one another since they were both kids, always able to depend on the other to be there for them when needed. Ethan has amazing qualities: He’s sweet, smart, ambitious and determined to make something of himself. What he’d like most is to earn the respect of Livvy’s father and prove he is worthy of her friendship and love. What I liked about Ethan was his thoughtfulness and how he always put Livvy’s needs before his own. Livvy is equally as smart, loyal and willing to sacrifice her own wants for those of her parents. She does her best to be the independent woman her parents are pushing her to be without Ethan. I could appreciate her drive to prove she achieved her independence. I found the book to be an easy read with a storyline that will hold your attention. I fell in love with them and just couldn’t put the book down.
