Description

As Marcus Aurelius said, "when we arise in the morning, we must think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love." This book is designed to teach one to live with righteous discipline. I am happy to share my personal story with the world. I invite you on an adventure to learn how to become accountable, intentional, and rational.

I want to give it more than 1 star because there was nuggets of information that made me think, “yes I can agree with that.” But then there would be a following thought that would directly refute a previous statement. Each line/ paragraph would skip from idea to idea. It was not written in a book form. Written like a book of quotes and maybe that would work it that was the intention. But again, statements conflicted with each other, making it exhausting to follow. I had to stop.

Written with a very cynical undertone. The advice seems to be aimed towards individuals with no aspirations of actually being a leader who connects with people but of one who lies and deceives to get what they want. Most of the ideology throughout the book is just regurgitated leadership course material and shows zero individual ideas.
