Description

Olive Thornbury only had one crush in high school, and his name was Asher Gallo. She was smitten with him from the first time she had laid eyes on him. But instead of acting on how she felt, she kept her nose stuck in a book, finding safety in the words rather than emotions.
Asher had never thought of Olive as anything more than a friend. She was aloof, preferring to read books. instead of spending time with her friends. And when she moved away almost a decade ago, their friendship quickly disintegrated.
But when Olive returns to visit a local university, she never expected to run into a very grown up and even more handsome Asher. And what starts off as a rekindling of an old friendship turns into a fiery relationship.
Do the opposites have enough in common to go the distance? Or will their combustible chemistry cause the flames to turn everything into cinders?

Oh I have been waiting for Asher! His book did not disappoint! Olive and Asher were meant to be from the beginning… I mean before the book even started.

Nothing like jumping into the world of the Gallo 😍 This time it’s Asher’s story. Old friends become new loves. And as always, the Gallo men just melt your heart with all their lovin. And of course, there’s a bit of danger sprinkled in too. It’s just everything you can’t resist!
  • Fantastic second chance with all the feels.

There are a lot of genres that Cinder can fall into. For me it is Books of Awesomeness and Books I will read again and again. I simply adored the chemistry between Olive and Asher. The story is overflowing with emotions that had me all gooey inside. Cinder is all about the brainiac and the artist. Olive has always been smart in books but clueless in love and self confidence. In high school she didn't think she was noticed. She was wrong. Her crush may have gone unnoticed, but she wasn't and when she left she was missed. The best thing to ever happen to Asher was having a pushy grammy. She insisted that he invite Olive to the family dinner. I would like to say the rest is history but in actual reality a lot of history is exposed in the early days of Olive and Asher's relationship. The book nerd obviously had her nose deep within her books and didn't notice things around her. The Gallos are the best. We all need an emotional support group like them. I never pictured Asher as the knight in shining armor. But when it comes to Olive his is blinding. What a shining example of devoted a male can be. Sometimes a little male dominance can leave a girl swooning for hours.
