If you want a fun light read packed with a lot of humor, this is the book for you. Jolene Jameson (JJ), has an opportunity of a lifetime. She has been working on her dissertation on Jane Austen, and in the prior book in this series, the director of the new Pride and Prejudice movie hires her as a consultant for the movie. She hasn’t been back to England for ten years. JJ was a nineteen year old in London for the first time when she met artist Fraser MacKenzie. They have a whirlwind romance, and she goes home thinking he is the one and is planning their future, when he ghosts her. Fast forward ten years, and who else arrives on the set of her dream job, but Fraser. Fraser has been hired by the studio to cut costs on the movie. He can’t believe his eyes when he sees Jolene. When the lead actor goes AWOL, Fraser and JJ have to put aside their issues to get him back on set before the studio finds out. This puts them on an journey through the English and Scottish countryside, and possibly a journey to a second chance. I love a good second chance romance, and this one does not disappoint. A great, fun, summer read. I received an arc of this book from the author for my honest review.
