Boundless

I enjoyed this book as a look into the second generation of the Cauld Ane. This story is Phineas’s and his mate is someone entirely unexpected. She is human but very aware of the existence of the Cauld Ane. Once they meet and all her knowledge is tested will they be able to find their way together and defeat the evil out to end the existence of a whole race of people?

I have been in Love with this series for years, since way back when it was first publish under the TJJ penname. Phineas and Lennox, amazing name for a girl btw, are a very welcome addition to the series. Their story took on a roller coaster of feels and it kept me engaged with the story from start to finish. It's a fantastic story that I know I will revisit many times. Well done to the author! I look forward to seeing what comes next in the Cauld Ane world.

It is time to celebrate. I loved the original Cauld Ane Series. I will even admit I was obsessed with the series. I was saddened when it ended. I didn't think I would ever get more. I am so happy to see that I was wrong. Time to light the fireworks. Let's pop some champagne. Piper Davenport is back, better than ever, with another Cauld Ane story. I got to read about some of my favorite characters. Even better, the reader gets to ew and aw over next generation. Kade and Sam have made beautiful babies and they are all grown up in Boundless. Phineas, at age 40, might be the spare but he is important to his people. Along side his mother, Sam, he has created Blue Fang. The Cauld Ane can now handle higher temperatures for periods of time. How cool is that? Things have gotten so much better for the Cauld Ane. They are no longer hiding, and are now sharing their technologies with the world. I was thrilled to read that they had come into the light. Silly me, I should have realized not everyone would be happy that they existed. Get ready for nail biting moments. Get ready to be left speechless by Gavin Trask, leader of the organization, Hand of the Cross. He gives new meaning to "he will stop at nothing" to rid the world of the Cauld Ane. The creme de la creme of the story---Phineas finds his mate. Can you guess who she is? It will make things very interesting. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with especially when her gift comes to light. Now I get to wait and wait. More is coming, I can feel it in my heart and I saw that this is book #1. WAHOO!!!!! Happy Dance.
