HERE'S WHAT READERS ARE SAYING ABOUT WAR OF THE FAE, BOOK 1:

"How come I am just finding out about this book?! Never did I imagine that it would be so hard to put down. Elle Casey's ability to tell a highly entertaining story with a combination of supernatural, fantasy, and contemporary elements took me for a ride. I saw this story as a combination of Karen Marie Moning's Fever series' Fae lore and The Hunger Games' big-time action, all the while keeping it unique and remarkable."~ jjireads, book blog

This book blew my freaking mind! I absolutely and totally, completely loved it! Elle Casey had me up late hours of the night laughing out loud…” ~ Haley~YA-Aholic, book blogger and Goodreads reviewer

“A brilliantly original YA fantasy. This was an extremely fun, exciting, and original book. I couldn't put it down. The pacing and suspense in this book are perfect." ~ Ally Arendt- Word Vagabond book blog

"Every once in a while a book just comes out of the blue and blindsides you with its awesomeness and this was one of them. I simply cannot recommend these books enough. If you enjoy fantasy, lots of colorful language and just enjoy life in general then you should enjoy these books." ~ Amazon Reviewer

"This book deserves to be on the shelf at every single bookstore, Walmart, Target, anywhere books are sold, it's simply that good." ~ Amazon Reviewer

I am a huge non-fan of first person stories, but since it was free and I needed a read, I stuck with it (unusual!) I found the changes in the characters’ lives to be somewhat abrupt, making me question their decision making abilities.... therefore not ”trusting” them to make good hero decisions. The author smoothed some of that out, but I was left feeling like there were too many leaps when there should have been baby steps and slower growth. The main protagonist’s personality grated on me initially, but her development through the story eased that. I would have liked it if, at the end of the book, I felt things were more wrapped up while also wanting to learn more. At this time I do *not* intend to purchase the other books in the series, but I won’t rule out changing my mind someday. Overall an interesting story, decently told with a few holes I wish had been filled.

While waiting for another book by Elle Casey to come out in the Drifters Alliance series, I started this series. I found the beginning just a touch slow but then, wow! It took off and I couldn't put it down. Love the humor and great imagination this author has. On to the next book in this series and hope to have this series done before the next Drifters comes out. Thank you Elle.

Good story! I read this book in one day. I liked the characters and the story line but it could have had more detail. I only noticed one grammatical error which is good. Many e books have a lot of errors. I'm hoping the story stays interesting enough to last through such a long series. 10 books seems to be dragging it out and they may get boring especially if they're lacking depth and detail. The one thing that bothered me the most was how character dismisses being molested as if it isn't that bad. I get that it's supposed to be a moment where she realizes dying is worse but the way it was worded was offensive to me. Otherwise I would give it a higher rating.

Still waiting for a definite point to come across and I'm in chapter 17. Usually I can fly through a book and enjoy it! This not so much especially because after so much of Jayne the main character she gets ANNOYING
