Description

In this original Outlander novella, Diana Gabaldon reveals what really happened to Roger MacKenzie Wakefield’s parents. Orphaned during World War II, Roger believed that his mother died during the London Blitz, and that his father, an RAF pilot, was killed in combat. But in An Echo in the Bone, Roger discovers that this may not be the whole story. Now, in “A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows,” readers learn the truth.

Good short story but should have just included in the book as an extra. Not very exciting. But did explain the story of Roger’s parents.

Bravo!! Yet another brilliant job by a masterful story teller. Love getting to dive deeper look into the characters of my all time favorite Outlander saga. Waiting patiently (or trying to anyway :) ) for book nine to arrive.

Exquisite 2015 crescendo to Diana Gabaldon's prolific series of novels detailing the lives & times of Claire Beauchamp Randall Fraser & James Alexander MacKenzie Fraser. If one is a lover of historical fiction, harrowing journeys across decades and per chance, centuries, heart-stopping love scenes, rewardingly lustful sexual encounters, and realistically woven & imagined family histories, enter into the Outlander Circle. You will be forever grateful!! But, make sure to carve out a cozy space, a glass of wine, a cup of tea & a warm, woolen throw because sometimes the chill off the Scottish moors comes right through the pages and swirls around your knees, the visions are so deliciously clear!!
  • Diana, you have done it again!
