"Charity we find abundantly insisted on in the New Testament by Christ and his apostles. And indeed there is no virtue so much insisted on by them."
Charity and Its Fruits was a work that Edwards had intended to publish but it wasn't until 1854 when his great, great grandson Tryon Edwards collected the sermons and published them. This work is a compilation of expository sermons on 1 Corinthians 13 by Jonathan Edwards. It is clear through the sermons that Edwards considered love to be the highest good, and the distinguishing mark of Christians.
This electronic edition features an introduction by Tryon Edwards and an active table of contents.
