These are primarily criticisms written by Lovecraft of other writers submissions and while interesting do not ever delve into his own works or mythos. From a literary standpoint it is intriguing to gear the criticism he lays upon many of his contemporaries. The work is also useful in grasping a better feeling for the higher standard of language to which he aspired in his writing.
