I have been reading the book version of the one year NIV Bible since 1987 and was delighted to find this app. I am very pleased to be able to highlight verses and type on the note that you can pop up and then store in the margin for reference and to remember what God's holy Word said to me at the time. I have had no glitches with this version and it works great for my daily Bible reading.

The book is fine. I can' t change the start day of reading like I could on a FREE version, so I began reading the bible today, Nov. 5 and the book starts with the day Jan. 1. That is annoying. For paying for the book, I would think that I could at least adjust the date to coincide with reality. I can highlight a word and get a dictionary meaning quickly and take notes that end up like sticky notes on the side of the text. I wish they would fix the date issue. If free bibles can do this, why can't a book on iBooks do at least that!
