This is a small book that contains some nice recipes. I downloaded it to my iPad and find it very easy to view the recipes on the iPad. I look forward to other books by this author.
  • Good recipes, annoying format

There aren't really all that many recipes in the book, but they look really good and I intend to try several. My gripe is the formatting, which isn't "bookish" at all and forces you to scroll downward as though navigating a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally long web page. A few of the pictures don't really match up with the recipes, either; one shows shrimp with what is very clearly black pepper sprinkled all over it, even though the recipe has only red pepper in it. This tells me that the images are probably stock rather than specifically photographed for the book using the actual recipes in question. I still think the recipes sound great, but I may end up just transferring some of them into a more readable recipe card program, because navigating through the book to a specific point is a real pain. In the future, please give us more good food and less useless bells and whistles.
