Replete with an astonishing assemblage of facts, illustrations, maps, charts, threats, blood, and additional fees to edify even the most simple-minded book-buyer, THE ONION BOOK OF KNOWN KNOWLEDGE is packed with valuable information-such as the life stages of an Aunt; places to kill one's self in Utica, New York; and the dimensions of a female bucket, or "pail." With hundreds of entries for all 27 letters of the alphabet, THE ONION BOOK OF KNOWN KNOWLEDGE must be purchased immediately to avoid the sting of eternal ignorance.

I haven't encountered so much dubious scholarship and outright plagiarism since Doris Kearns Goodwin's 5 volume "History of Table Tennis in the Antebellum South, 1493 - 1861." But hey, it beats Wikiipedia, right?

I might buy this book if I thought I might not have to read it. Maybe it's a coloring book with big lines that I could perchance, sometimes, try to stay inside of. Or not. I would also probably buy it if it described the meaning, or lack of, of life. Yep, Nahhh. Maybe? Oh look, a squirrel.

I just came here to get a free sample of this book. I pride myself on reading all the samples and never ordering a full edition of anything. There is a slim chance I may actually buy something one day but the freebie preview would have to be at least 70 pages and very impressive. This Onion thing has piqued my interest and has possibility but lets see some of the goods first.

As I write this, before this book is released, I can say its likely the best book I have never read. I have pre-ordered so that I can either read the book and change my opinion, or just outright ignore the book. Either way, I'm sure I will be more ignorant.
