The story: like Tarzan, perfect man specimen adrift in foreign circumstances dealing with "inferior" races. Finds perfect savage woman beneath his station, the most perfect, virtuous in the place of course. Has trouble defining his love while he battles (perfectly) all sorts of beasts in his search for home. Higher intellect by virtue of his luxurious and virtuous and privileged life back home prevails. Poor and inaccurate descriptions of dinosaurs and prehistoric beasts by today's standards, but appropriate for the time it was written. Still, highly entertaining and an easy read. Great value for a free eBook with a classic feel. I can see how this was a favorite in its time, lots of imagination and a spirit of privileged adventure on every page. Enjoy! Read "The Lost Continent" first.
