Description

A prison doctor injects a condemned serial killer with a formula designed to keep his consciousness awake while his body rots in the grave. But all drugs have unforeseen side-effects. Before he could be buried, the killer wakes up. Hungry. Infected. Contagious. This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang…but a bite.

Another winner. I have read all of the Joe Ledger books and was looking for new Maberry reads. I actually purchased Fall of Night and then released that Dead of Night was the first in this series. From the beginning to the end, I was a captive reader. I have yet to start Fall of Night but I know that I will not be disappointed.

Great zombie book with a twist! Love the backstory and the "how" that so many choose to ignore!

First the Pine Deep trilogy, then Joe Ledger showed up and now Zombies!!! Jonathan Mayberry delivers another home run with "Dead of Night". Fast paced & lots of blood n guts, with characters you quickly grow to love or hate...Stephen King made Maine seem creepy where as Mr. Mayberry & Brian Keene (another great author) make me scared !$&!@&$$ to ever visit the state of Pennsylvania....I highly encourage reading this book and anything else Jonathan Mayberry has written. Worth every single penny!!!!!

By far the most page spinning zombie book. I'm dying for part 2. The it ended was priceless. All the characters were well developed and the story was great. Another great read from Maberry. I purchased this book on Monday and finished it today ( what does that tell you)
