THE UNKNOWN HAS AN ADDRESS. . . .

Hidden away in the Badlands of South Dakota, Warehouse 13 is a top-secret repository for historical artifacts imbued with dangerous supernatural properties. Secret Service agents Pete Lattimer and Myka Bering are ever on the lookout for loose artifacts threatening to ruin the world’s day. Their mission:“Snag it, bag it, tag it.”

Reports of a genuine psychic healer, along with a simultaneous epidemic of mysterious illnesses, lead Myka and Pete on a hazardous investigation that stretches from a carnival sideshow back to the bloody history of the Civil War. But when Pete is infected with a deadly disease, Myka and the rest of the team, including Artie Nielsen and Claudia Donovan, must track down a pair of cursed gloves—before a madman unleashes a virulent plague upon America!

The story reads like an episode or a film. Enjoyable characters and a plot that fits neatly into the canon.

Excellent read...!!! Not many times does a book keep me so intrigued with each character until the very end...!!! I love the TV show...!!! Cox did brilliantly keeping everything together... So that leaves me to ask... Why is their only one book...???

Jumping right from TV to a novel, Touch of Fever never misses! If you fans of the series as I am, you'll love this book! The author is a definite fan as the book, is full of references, subtle and obvious. He also wonderfully captures the characters personality and traits. Taking place in the timeframe of Season 2, the novels reads like another episode, with the chapter breaks coming just when a commercial would. As the story progresses, it does take on a bit more expansive action and events that go beyond what the show can deliver on a TV budget, which is how a novel should as there is no budget when it comes to the minds eye. Nice compliment to a great show. Hope they'll be more as it could fill the gap between seasons. Or better yet, let the lovely HG share her adventures!
