Brandon Sanderson's writing style is wonderfully entertaining. His grasp on WoT history and facts is rock solid and then some. I truly looked forward to reading this every day after work and it was a wonderful escape into a much loved world.

This prologue has started the end, bringing together multiple threads of the pattern to start the last battle I can't wait for this book even though the series is almost over it brings the culmination of 20+ years of incredible writing and one of the greatest stories ever written. This is one of the best parts of the series yet Brandon Sanderson is showing his true skills here fitting his words to Jordan's amazing epic and making you feel like Jordan is still with us. Thank you Brandon and thank you Harriet.

Short but engaging. Not only are the main characters on the move, so are the large but impersonal combatant armies. Characters who have not seen each other in years will now meet face to face to resolve old grudges and misunderstandings. The forces of the Dark Lord have begun their march south in overwhelming strength. Bloody battles and sieges are certain to be central to the next "full" book. I can hardly wait....
