Description

The #1 New York Times Bestseller | Now a series on Disney+

12-year-old Percy Jackson discovers he is the son of Poseidon in the opener to the hilarious, fast-paced adventure fantasy series for young readers ages 10 and up

The eBook edition of the first book in Rick Riordan’s thrilling series, filled with magic, mythology, and plenty of monsters

Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school again—he can't seem to stay out of trouble. Is he supposed to stand by while a bully picks on his scrawny best friend? Or not defend himself when his teacher turns into a monster and tries to kill him?

Mythical creatures seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. What’s worse, he's angered a few of them: Zeus's master lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect.

Percy and his friends Grover the satyr, and Annabeth, the demigod daughter of Athena, must find and return Zeus's stolen property and bring peace to a warring Mount Olympus. They travel cross country to the gates of the Underworld in Los Angeles, facing a host of enemies determined to stop them.

Withmillions of copies and over 10 years spent on the New York Times bestseller list, Percy has also become a movie, a Broadway musical, and now a Disney+ series. He continues to find fans in classrooms and libraries across the world.

Reading this book was like being in my own world while knowing they’re still on earth sometimes. The descriptions of all the characters, the places, even their personalities were explained so subtly. Am absolutely in love with this book and would add it to my collection of paperbacks if i could!

Please. Read. This. Best book ever, love all of them. Also love the other one series that branch off ( minus trials of Apollo🥲😭- poor Jason) If you see “ to many spelling errors then get the actual book, there are NONE Also don’t give books one star reviews if it can load or you aren’t smart enough to open the DAM book.

Really good book. It brings me back to my childhood considering I read these books when I was younger. It’s written really well and in my opinion it’s hard to get bored while reading. Great book!

Percy Jackson is a series about Percy being the son of Poseidon who goes on a quest to retrieve the master-bolt and get it back to Zeus. This book is very good if you have played Fortnite and the Greek God season. (Such a good season) I hope you read this book because I honestly really enjoyed it! 🔱

I only started enjoying Greek Mythology and all that it has to offer. And this only heightened it! Reading it in a day was also interesting for me, 400-ish pages are crazy! Whoever decides to read it, you’re heading toward a great interest!

The book was a great read. Never did I find myself bored. Definitely keeps your attention. After reading it, I strongly felt like the Harry Potter series was trying to be copied. Kinda like a copy my homework and don’t make it obvious. However it is the experience that matters and I definitely had a good one reading it. I will say that Harry Potter at least progresses in its books. Here Percy is fighting gods in the first book, which makes it a hard sell. After also attempting to watch the horrific movie, I can’t say I’ll be rushing to read the next one in the series.
