Description

The Misunderstood God tells the truth about who the Creator is. This book analyzes what religion says about God's heart and personality and measures it up to what God calls Himself: Love. It simplifies a generation's tangled perceptions of God by taking a journey through the sixteen aspects of love described in one of the most well-known Bible passages in the world: 1 Corinthians 13, also known as "the love chapter." So many Christians have been bombarded with confusing teachings and doctrines that their understanding of God resembles a tightly tangled ball of Christmas tree lights. This book takes that twisted mess and replaces it with one soft, warm light of truth that anyone can embrace: God is love.

I found this book to be an honest and sincere caption of the church. It has liberated me in a way that I see my self free from the starch legalistic platform of religion and thrust into God's Grace free to live and bass in His Love. I highly recommend this book. God bless this author for his courage to speak the truth.

I grew up in the church and spent my entire life either searching for or running away from God. This book strips away all the lies, the mystery, the confusion, and questions I have had. It goes straight to the "heart" of the matter and reveals the simple truth about who God is. The truth will set you free!

I have found this book to be dangerous. If you want to live a comfortable, inconsistent Christian life and you don't want your world rocked, then don't read this book. IT COULD CHANGE THE WAY YOU BELIEVE ABOUT GOD. This author has nailed down the biggest problem in our relationship with a really loving God. It is a must read if you are just tired and want to give up on your whole walk with Christ. I highly recommend this book. I want to thank the author for having the courage to tell the truth in a world where Christianity has become a money making, mega church industry.
