I loved this story...the heroine was a strong intelligent woman...in many ways innocent in love...it was wonderful to see love bloom in such a situation...shows that sometimes...things fall just into place as they should be. I loved the book. One of my favorite historical romances..the lovely heroine was definitely a delightful change from the virgin usually presented...instead her learning of new pleasures from her husband was romantic and lovely in all it's ways. Highly recommended.

I love historical romance and this one was very good. I could feel the history and the characters were rich and complex. I loved that Catherine wasn't a idealistic "innocent" virgin. She comes to the story with a past, made decisions that were unexpected, and The romance with William was actually romantic. I recommend it highly.

I really enjoyed this book. As a wife and mother I couldn't help but relate to the main character. And the storyline certainly kept me turning the pages. Exactly what I was looking for. Loved it loved it.
