Loved the story of Blake and Tommy. Too bad all women don’t have a “Tommy” in their lives. What a wonderful man! Blake’s insecurities with her health issues caused such pain for both of them. I’m so glad it turned into an HEA at the end, but sad to see the story end. Excellent reading.

Montana Cowboy Promise, the fifth book in Jane Porter’s Wyatt Brothers of Montana series is a roller ride of emotions. Tommy and Blake hit squarely in the heartstrings, their unusual journey is fraught with time and distance. Blake’s stoicism is juxtaposed by Tommy’s strength and all encompassing heart. I was engaged with and cheering for this couple from their meet cute, Tommy’s unintended rescue of Blake, and their subsequent marriage was endearing, as was their instant draw to each other. I’m not sure the last time when two characters left such a lasting impression, well long after the story had ended…my emotions ran the gamut from tears to escalating joy. If there was ever a couple who deserved a true HEA, it was these two…they will go in my book lovers’ heart as one of my all time favorites. This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Montana Cowboy Promise really tugs at the heart strings. Tommy's determination to not give up on his impulsive marriage to Blake is probably my favorite part. I truly enjoyed the real life issues in this book. I loved catching up with the characters from previous books in the series especially Melvin and Summer. I would highly recommend this book and the entire series.

5 Stars! I think Montana Cowboy Promise might be my favorite book in this series. Wait! Actually, I know it is. Of all the Wyatt brothers Tommy is my favorite and has been since book one. Tommy is the brother with the biggest heart. He always believed in love and just knew that there was a soulmate out there for him. And when he meets her three years prior to where this story begins, he knows without a doubt that Blake is the one. An impulsive marriage after a few days of knowing each other is the most real thing in his life. Tommy loves his career in rodeo, he is loyal and loving to his family but there is something about Blake that brings out more. I won’t go into the reason why Tommy and Blake were separated for a few years. That particular resolution develops as the story moves on in a perfect, steady pace. Their rode to forever-after is not simple. There are obstacles in the way that are not easy to hurdle over. But don't worry because Tommy Wyatt is a determined, head-over-heels in love cowboy and he won't give up without a fight. Montana Cowboy Promise is an emotional novel written with sensitivity and believability. The main characters are stubborn but likable. I admit to being a bit frustrated with Blake until all is revealed. There are so many love-at-first sight novels that are quite cheesy and unrealistic. However, in my opinion, this author did a wonderful job at making me believe, without a doubt, in Tommy and Blake's relationship. I was invested and engaged from the first words. If you haven't read the rest of the series, no worries because this book can stand on its own. I do however recommend this series highly. While I received an advanced reading copy of this book, you are reading my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)
