Wonderful story by Patricia Briggs about Asil Moreno being sent on a quest to go on a date. The other dates have been incredibly eventful. He has had to right wrongs at every turn. In this short story, he drives to Seattle from Montana. He left Spain a long while ago, because he thinks that he should be put down. We are reminded of his unending pain now that Sarai is dead, as she has been for a long time. Alan Choo rang a distant bell, and then when Moira the white witch was mentioned, I realized that Alana must have been in a previous book. Anyhow, there is a wendigo involved in the story who tries to defeat Asil.
