Madison, newly hired and overqualified CSI, and Silas, semi downtrodden police detective, haven’t been given a second to breathe since the first murder that indicated the return of a serial killer from Silas’ past cases. As the story progresses a theory is followed, a new perspective is offered, and a tense work environment could create problems that they cannot fix. W.L. Knightly threw a wrench in the works to leave the reader scrambling in The Past Revealed. The path became more difficult for the duo and there doesn’t seem to be any relief in sight for them at this point. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This second installment of The Evidence Speaks continues where book one left off. Silas and Madison are still trying to find evidence of who is butchering and killing women. They are also in agreement that their boss, Captain Fletcher had people falsify evidence in the past. This does end with a cliffhanger. I can't wait to find out if they will get closer to figuring out who the Ghost really is or will he stop killing?
