Left me hanging…

It feels so strange going back to my very first JK book after so many years. The prequel to Laura, Mike, and Dylan’s story reminded me why I loved these characters so much. This book makes me want reread them all!

A tease. Really only equal to a first chapter. Don’t waste your time/money. Hate when an author does that. Is her work not worth it from the git go? Don’t have time for a tease. Never get to the point where characters even meet!

This is In Your Dreams written by Julia Kent. It’s a prequel to the Her Billionaires series featuring Laura, Dylan and Mike. It’s been expanded from the previous version and we get to spend a little more time with these three wonderful characters before they meet. It’s a wonderful and bumpy ride with a good side of kink thrown in to please us all. Don’t miss out on this series! It’s one of my favorites from one of my favorite authors!!

Years ago, the Her Billionaires series was my first exposure to the incredible Julia Kent’s writing. Since then, I’ve read nearly everything she’s written and never once been disappointed. This prequel to the Her Billionaires series was like coming home for me. I’d actually read in its first iteration, but this updated version just made me love it and the entire series that much more… and I honestly didn’t think that was possible. Thank you, Julia Kent, for proving me wrong. There’s an almost magical element to this story, as three people seemingly destined to be together begin the journey to their lives together. They’ve each been hurt before and are feeling a little broken, but the magic of true love is working in their dreams to open their hearts to hope and possibility again. And what could be more beautiful than that? Ms. Kent’s writing draws you right in and before you know it, you’re completely enthralled with these characters and this story. I honestly cannot recommend this prequel and the entire Her Billionaires series highly enough. * I was given an ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to review. If you’re a fan of Julia Kent’s Her Billionaires series, you’ll adore this extended prequel. Before Laura, Dylan and Mike were a thruple, they were a lonely Laura and grieving Dylan and Mike. This book gives you insight into the past of three people seemingly fated to be a very special, if unconventional, love story.

This is a re-run of my first read and beginning love of all books “Julia Kent”, with “more” story added. I had forgotten how much enjoyment I had reading this series. This novella is just a taste of this series. Grab this one and then pick up the series. A definite addition to your TBR list.
