Description

OWNED BY THE MAN I BETRAYED
Six years ago I uttered a lie that changed a man’s life.
My father banished him from his bratva cell. From the country.
Now he’s back to take my inheritance. My life. Not through murder, but marriage.
And my own father arranged it.
Maxim thinks he can make me submit to his will. He thinks he gets to call all the shots.
I wanted him once and he refused me. I won’t fall for him again.
And I don’t plan to cave.
Not even when he makes me tremble with need…

Max and Sasha are wonderful together. The story was well written in the trust factor needed to be earned to survive a future...they can now go forward to a strong and forever future.....well worth reading. April H, FL
  • Good plot idea, just a little slow

I found it to be okay. The whole thing slowed down so much halfway through I considered skipping ahead, but hung in there. Haven’t read a ton of this author’s books, but I would’ve liked to have read more of what the Bratva cell actually did. They seemed to spend almost all of their time inside the one penthouse, which seems completely unrealistic that all those adults and couples would live like that. The plot was a little slow and predictable. I really like the beginning, loved the ending. Could’ve cut out half of the middle for me. Anticlimactic after reading the first book.

Sasha and Maxim are married at her father’s death bed and neither is too happy about it...at first. Her father was the head of the Russian mafia and his death leaves Sasha vulnerable to betrayal which is why he gave her to Maxim to protect. If only it was that simple... I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
