Light & Motion (formerly Travelling Light) is a portfolio of mostly urban night photography by wildlife photographer Wayne Osborn. A counterpoint to the intense discipline of wildlife photography. One might say a mid-light crisis from a relentless focus on focus; an abandonment of the pin-sharp precision of monitoring mega fauna; a spurning (albeit temporary) of the natural world for the built environment. The siren call of the cosmopolitan precincts of New York, Beijing and London beckoned with effuse spectral glitter. On the gritty streets of Kingston, Jamaica, light pulsed to a reggae beat. Storms off the Western Australian coast showcased a little celestial firepower. Travelling Light is a loose-handed fling with cameras in motion, careless framing, long shutters speeds, a sharp turn of the zoom and caution thrown to the wind. Wayne & Pam Osborn have 18 books on Apple Books mainly whale, wildlife and marine life photographic work. Their books have been downloaded in 37 countries.
