This is a precise of each of Puccini's 12 operas on an act by act basis and a simplified and Americanized libretto for all of them save Edgar, La fanciulla del West, and La rondine which remain a work in progress at this time. What does Americanized mean? IIt means that al of the endless repetitions have been removed and much of the european sentence structure which we Americans find treacherous in reading have been reduced to simple declarative statements.
