The Frightening Fruition of Frumpism

This humorous, yet sobering, essay is a parody about a democracy that slips into a dictatorship by the actions of a tyrannical president and a group of devout followers who ignore, repress, and subvert the checks and balances put in place by a here-to-fore solid constitution. Although the book is a fictional work along the lines of George Orwell's "1984," it parallels the events and characters in the 2016 to 2019 timeframe in American politics and envisions where those actions could lead this society through the year 2085 and beyond. The crux of the story takes place in the 2016 to 2024 timeframe.
