The ABCs of Christianity

Christianity is not all about Hellfire but...Malachi 4. 1 - the day is coming, burning like an oven...Revelation 20. 12-15 - you're tossed into a lake of fire if your name is not found written in the Book of Life.  Christianity is very tough on people who are not saints.

St. Paul is clear that we are saved by faith and not by works. Yet the scriptures are clear we are judged by our works to determine if our faith is legit. See Revelation 20. 12-15. James 2. 17 - faith without works is dead. Luke 13. 3 - Repent or Perish. James 1. 26 says your religion is useless is you don't bridle your tongue.  If your religion is useless then it won't deliver you to Heaven.

1 Cor 11. 27-29: you drink damnation into your soul if you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner.

No end of churches give the bread and the wine to Sabbath violators, to pro-choicers, to pro gay marriage heretics, to LGBT heretics etc. Read 1 Cor 6. 9-10. Galatians 1. 8-12 says you're accursed if you alter the doctrines St. Paul learned from Christ.

The Roman Catholic Church actually teaches the doctrine that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

2 Thess 1. 7-9 mentions hellfire for those who don't know God and who don't obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

You don't know God if you think Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

John 14. 23-26 and Matthew16.13-19 tell us there is a True Church. St. Paul's phrase "there is one body" in Ephesians 4.4 is his terminology for "there is one True Church".  So, it is heresy, it is a satanic lie, to say there are multiple True Churches. Yet we have hundreds of separate denominations / churches.

Let's look at some logic which says it is INSANITY to promote more than one church.

A preacher goes to a park and tells people the Church of England is God's True Church which leads people to Heaven. He says all other churches are false churches, says all other churches are lost in heresy and so they drag people down to eternal perdition. He meets Roman Catholics and Lutherans, Presbyterians and Baptists, Mormons and Eastern Orthodox believers etc , etc., who are offended by his preaching. They hate his message that only the Church of England leads people to Heaven. They hate hearing that every other Christian denomination is a false church which drags people down to eternal perdition.

The animosity the Anglican preacher is getting causes him surrender. So, he changes his tune and he says the Church of England, and the Roman Catholic Church, and the Eastern Orthodox Church, and the Presbyterians, and the Methodists, the Mormons, the SBC, the ELCA, the LCMS etc., etc., are all churches which lead people to Heaven.

This is insanity because...

The Church of England either leads people to Heaven or else the Church of England doesn't lead people to Heaven. The Church of England is either God's True Church or else it isn't.

If the Church of England is lost in heresy and leads people to perdition, if it is a false church, then when you tell people the Church of England will lead them to Heaven - when it will lead them to perdition - then you are leading those people away from Heaven and to perdition.  So, you are a heretic, so you will go to perdition.

On the other hand, if the Church of England leads people to Heaven, if it is God's True Church, then you should promote only the Church of England. It would be taking a Hellish risk to promote churches other than the Church of England.

If you assure people that a specific church will lead them to Heaven, when in fact that church will drag them down to eternal perdition, then you are leading those people away from Heaven and to perdition - so you are lost in heresy, so you will go to perdition if you never repent.
