Jake and Jo are trying to find the Hangman but now the Copy Cat is making it harder. With Jake making his feels for Jo more apparent he has to try and keep his head clear as there are more twists and turns. Also with only two more people that the Hangman wants and they are Jo’s family, how will she keep a clear head? Will it all will out? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Sinful Crime is the fifth book in the Hangman series. In this one, we see things really begin to escalate. In every sense of the word. Jo and Jake have to find Madden, and it’s all hands on deck when it comes to the effort. Not to mention, Michael is growing tense, and Kyle is slipping further and further from reality. Dannie also begins to see the light. At the same time, Jo and Jake come to an understanding between them. How many is it too late for? In full disclosure, I read this in exchange for an honest review. This was a decent read, and a fairly quick one. It really moves the story along, especially in the last half. There are a few errors, though they may have been fixed by the time of official publication. Overall, you continue to see just how devious minds can be, and how pushed past their limits a person can be. Time is ticking on this serious, and it will be great to read the next, and last, book, to see how this all wraps up.

The plot thickens even more in this one! Again, I devoured it in one sitting! Jake and Jo really have a lot on their hands with the Hangman, copycat and corruption. They also can’t ignore the attraction between them! This series continues with intrigue and lots of twist and turns to keep your attention until the last page. I can’t wait for the final part to see how it will all turn out. But at the same time, I don’t want this series to end! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
