What an imagination! Morgan Rice will never run out of ideas for books! Another one that can’t be put down and disappointment when it over!

I love the story of this book. It’s a good wholesome story. Magic, mystery, morals. Easy read. Great for teens or adults who like teen stories. It was a bit slow as first but I enjoyed the whole book. I just know the story seemed way different than a magical story at first.

There is no way a human did. It is a really poorly written Harry Potter rip-off. There are grammatical and word usage mistakes, as well as repetitive descriptions. How many times can trash blowing in the wind be mentioned in the first chapters before the reader tires of it? How many times can the main character get lost in the hallways? I can not understand how this even made it through editing. The story is just ok; some characters are likable yet underdeveloped. Many situations that the main character finds himself in are tiresome, or just plain ridiculous. It is like the AI just couldn’t come up with anything else to say. I would pass on this one.

I really enjoyed this book except for the bullying. It seemed as if no one would be kind to Oliver. It was too much, but I guess that is what you feel when an author is able to write so well that you care about the characters so deeply. Thank you for sharing your book.

Starting this book, one would assume it’s extremely similar to the Harry Potter series considering the first couple chapters. Keep reading. While the introduction is fairly similar, the concept of the story goes into a different direction and even the name of the book, it makes you assume it’s a story about young wizards but it’s about an entirely different concept. There is also a real life history aspect of the story than many books avoid and decide to create an entirely new universe, Morgan Rice is able to place her story into our world and describe how the main characters interact with real events.
