A matchmaking aunt wants her nephew to find love under the mistletoe...

All doggy daycare owner Callie Andrews wants for Christmas is to win first prize this year. The annual window display competition is a huge event in Silver Falls, and she’s determined to showcase her success when her family visits her small town. It's time for her parents and three older brothers to realize the "baby" of the family is thriving on her own.

The last thing Brandt Winslow wants to do is rehash the past, but returning home to Silver Falls means confronting the reason he left. His vacation, however, takes an unexpected turn when his well-meaning aunt meddles in his love life, and he finds himself caught up in her misguided efforts at matchmaking.

Despite their reluctance at being paired up, Callie and Brandt discover the holidays are full of surprises...and romance. But is the magic of Christmas strong enough to keep the couple together through the new year?

Unless you’ve “walked in someone else’s shoes” words meant to be helpful can be misinterpreted as condescending. Brandt and Callie misjudged each other in a similar situation and as they started to open themselves to one another they found a connection worth cultivating. This book is filled with love, family, friendship and the feelings of Christmas leading to a HEA ending. It’s worth a read in my opinion.

Entertaining, lighthearted story, set in a charming small town. Characters were complex and interesting, likeable. Main characters demonstrated growth in self-knowledge during course of the story.
  • Another great read

Welcome to the small town of Silver Falls. The annual Christmas window display competition had begun. To win first prize in this competition is all, Callie Andrews wants. Callie is the owner of Wags and Tails (a Doggy Daycare Business). Winning the first place prize would prove to her family that she is a success. Brandt Winslow returns to Silver Falls to visit his Aunt Margot while on vacation. He left Silver Falls when a business partnership went awry. His Aunt Margot takes to making a match between Callie & Brandt. Will the magic of Christmas help her out? A heartwarming read with wonderful characters in a romantic, Christmas season oriented theme. Great fur babies add flavor to the story. I volunteered to read The Christmas Window. Thanks to the author for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.
