SARAH LORRAINE LUND CASEY
Lorraine was born on March 24, 1911, just one day prior to the tragic shirtwaist factory fire in NYC that killed 147 young workers, mostly women, who were locked in the building. This event gave birth to the Labor movement and to government safety regulations. Gene, Florence and the new baby Lund girl lived in SE Minneapolis in an apartment on Minnehaha Avenue.
