Before The Farmhouse Burned Down

There is a blue farmhouse that is spoken about a lot in the book. It's where most of the story takes place. Paintings of landscapes are also mentioned a great deal (and easels, paintbrushes, colors etc. because the main character is an artist). There is also a fire at the climax of the book as suggested by the title which ends up burning the farmhouse down.
