Every growing plant needs three basic things: light, water, and nutrients.  In traditional agriculture, plants grow outside and the sun provides the light, irrigation systems supply the water, and soil provides the nutrients plants need to grow.  Hydroponics is a different form of agriculture that can be done indoors and it refers to the cultivation of plants in nutrient-rich water without the use of soil.  Since hydroponics can be an indoor technology, lighting is essential.  Hydroponic 」
