I have read every one of the books published in this series as well as most of the final book which can be read elsewhere on the web in beta format while it’s being written, or rewritten in part, I should say. I also enjoyed The Good Student by V.Moody, both book 1 and the the part of the second book that has been written so far, which can be also read on the web in beta. The issue I have is that he doesn’t seem to be able to finish either series. I have the impression that he over complicates things at times and doesn’t have a clear idea of where the stories should end. Both have been stuck for a couple of years. And it feels like he might have moved on to other stuff, unless of course real life has slowed him down, which I hope is not the case. Otherwise I agree with other reviewers that he is original and entertaining, but he might benefit from a good editor to get more focused, and go that last mile on these fun series.
