Through an enchanting—and often amusing—story about two struggling strangers who meet an eccentric tycoon who becomes their secret mentor, The 5am Club will walk you through:
How great geniuses, business titans and the world’s wisest people start their mornings to produce astonishing achievementsA little-known formula you can use instantly to wake up early feeling inspired, focused and flooded with a fiery drive to get the most out of each dayA step-by-step method to protect the quietest hours of daybreak so you have time for exercise, self-renewal and personal growthA neuroscience-based practice proven to help make it easy to rise while most people are sleeping, giving you precious time for yourself to think, express your creativity and begin the day peacefully instead of being rushed“Insider-only” tactics to defend your gifts, talents and dreams against digital distraction and trivial diversions so you enjoy fortune, influence and a magnificent impact on the world
Part manifesto for mastery, part playbook for genius-grade productivity and part companion for a life lived beautifully, The 5am Club is a work that will transform your life. Forever.

I value the information presented & appreciate how it was shared in more of a story format vs like how-to/self-help format. Characters got got redundant. We’re a handful of unexpected events that overall kept me reading through to the end.

I came into the book with such hope. Heard good things. While there are good insights, I found the book corny. A love story between two people who just met? It was awful. Couldn’t finish the book. Rolled my eyes too many times.

There were a lot of things that I didn’t know about the success factor of waking up early and in this book you will learn about that.

This book is unrealistic. As a mother of two working 40+ hours outside the home each week there is no chance I will be able to do two workouts per day, an hour of studying per day, two 90 minute massages per week, while still cooking/caring for my children and maintaining a home. This might work for single men. But this is just out of touch with reality. And the way the book is written is annoying. If I have to read “you two cats” one more time I might vomit.

Decent principles to follow, although some of them are completely unrealistic for the average person. The fictional story in the book drags on forever and is cringeworthy! I’m sorry, but it is. I chose to not spend any more of my valuable time finishing the book and instead just skimmed through, hitting the highlights. I honestly can’t believe this book has been rated as highly as it has been. I read it because it continued to show up in lists for “top books.” Now I’m skeptical of the other books in the lists!!!
