Description

Avery Burton loves her job as assistant to Logan Calloway. A big time Hollywood A-lister, Logan spends all his time on the West Coast leaving her to run his charity in Whiskey River. Staying busy and giving back to the community that is the only real family she’s ever known suits Avery just fine…until Logan announces he’s coming home for Christmas.

Ever since his mother abandoned him as a young boy, Whiskey River hasn't felt like home to Logan Calloway. Still, he heads home for the holidays, intending to reflect on his career and personal life. When he sees his assistant Avery in his home, Logan begins to realize that Whiskey River has more to offer than just bad memories.

As Logan and Avery spend more time together working for the charity, it becomes impossible to deny their chemistry and attraction.

Good story which I enjoyed. I just just hate reading graphic sex between unmarried people. So I just skipped those pages. The sexual act between husband and wife is a precious and beautiful union. I was so Blessed to have a man who waited for marriage. I will not read any more of your books.

Love any book that takes place in Whiskey River. Whiskey River is where we all want to live. Where the people are real, friendships strong and real love is found. Avery and Logan both had family issues from their childhood that still loomed over their adulthood. They both learned that love could conquer all. The epilogue left us readers with good thoughts.

Thought the story poorly written. Technically written but with very little feeling coming from the book.

Great concept & fun read. Serious proofreading failure! Lack of appropriate punctuation & grammar seriously detracted from a Texas story that wasn’t a cowboy story. Very disappointing.

The book wasn’t long enough to develop good characters. The lack of good characters was just the start of bad things in the book.

Once Upon A Texas Christmas (Whiskey River Christmas Book 4) by Katherine Garbera This is Avery Burton and Logan Calloway’s story. Logan had a difficult childhood but is famous now. He has never gotten serious with anyone until he gets to know Avery. They are very different people. Will they take a chance on love? This is another great addition to the Whiskey River Christmas series. Logan and Avery’s story was fun to watch them open up to each other. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The last of the Whiskey River Christmas series and possibly my favorite of the four. Avery and Logan are fantastic characters and their story is heartwarming and full of hope. Logan Calloway left Whiskey River years ago and has made a success of himself in Hollywood. Yet he's never forgotten Whiskey River and wants to give back as much as he can. Avery Burton heads up his charitable foundation in Whiskey River and this is the first time they have met in person. It's not long before Logan begins to realize that Avery may be worth putting his past behind him and staying in Whiskey River for a good long while. I definitely recommend this one.
